Community soccer
for kids in Oakville.
Pick a Game is a free app that helps Oakville parents organize local soccer games to keep kids active. RSVP in two taps, split field costs evenly, and skip the fees and season commitment of a club league.
How Pick a Game works
- Download the app and pick Oakville + soccer. Accounts are for parents, guardians, and players 16+.
- Join a game or start one. Set a time, field, and player limit, then share the link with other families.
- RSVP and show up. The app sends reminders, splits any field cost evenly, and tracks who reliably shows up.

Questions parents ask
Where can my kids play free community soccer in Oakville?
Pick a Game lists soccer games organized by Oakville parents and community volunteers. Open the app, pick Oakville and soccer, and RSVP to a game near you. Joining is free; if a game uses a rented field, the rental cost is split evenly between attendees.
Is Pick a Game free?
Yes. There are no subscriptions, premium tiers, or app fees. The only cost is an optional even share of a field rental when a game needs one, and organizers cannot profit from it.
Who can create an account?
Parents and guardians, plus players aged 16 and older. Parents organize games and RSVP for their children; children do not create their own accounts.
Who supervises the kids at a game?
Games are community-run, not a club or league. The organizing parents and the parents of attending children are responsible for supervision. Pick a Game does not provide coaches or staff.
How are field costs split?
If the organizer enters a field rental cost, the app divides it evenly across everyone who RSVPs. Organizers can never charge more than the actual cost.
What happens if we cancel late?
Dropping out less than 24 hours before a game counts as a flake and lowers your reliability score, so organizers can count on the players who RSVP.
Can I start a game for my child's friends or school group?
Yes. Any parent can create a game, set the time, place, and player limit, and share the link with other families.
